Didn't take long.....

for something funny to happen around here for me to write about!! So, I've got two things this morning. First of all, if you don't believe in karma, I think you will after this story!! The kids got into thumb tacks a few weeks back and we have been finding them all over the house. A few days ago, Kirby stepped on one and I (being the caring, thoughtful wife that I am) laughed at him. So today, I feel something go into my foot and I go to pull it out and it is DEFINITELY longer than a tack. Once I get it out and look at it..............it is a bobby pin that has been broke in half. With all the blood, you would have thought I cut a toe off. There is a trail of blood from next to my bed, to the bathroom and big drops of blood on my rug. Kirby's mom told me to be sure to get a tetanus shot, that she doesn't want me getting lock-jaw or anything, to which I responded........Kirby might like it if I get lock jaw!!!! KARMA..........I believe!!!

Next, I go to make a phone call and I hear all these beeps. Charley has the phone somewhere in the house and she is NOT giving up her location to me. So, I hit the talk button again and I hear a male voice say, "Hello" Then my sweet little daughter says "hew-wo" To which the man responds, "I think you've got the wrong number, ok??" Then I tell him that I am so sorry to bother him, that my 2 1/2 year old has the phone somewhere in the house and is hiding from me. At this point Charley asks him, "what you doin" I translate for him and he tells her that he is going on a trip this weekend and asks what she is doing (mind you, I am asking her where she is this whole time and she is ignoring me). Once he asks her what she is doing, she responds with a giggle and says "I'm at my momma's house, under my bubba's bed!!!" Sure enough, there she is..........under his bed, on her belly, talking to this man on the phone!! I think he got a big kick out of it as did I and the best part is.....he lives right here in Edmond, so no over-seas charges or anything!!!!

It is definitely crazy around our house!!!

So....

I've never blogged before.......maybe this will be a good way to keep up with all the funny things my kiddo's do! I always say I'm gonna start a book and I've never done it! Tyler is going to be 9 in Jan. and I know I'm forgetting some of our favorite funny stories about him. I don't want the same to happen with my other two!! We will see how this all goes!!!
